This 2-hour interactive webinar is designed for clinicians who desire an algorithm to improve socket-grafting skills and results in preparation for dental implant placement.  Significant influential factors to be presented include: (i) residual socket topography (ii) patient’s hygiene, age and medical history, (iii) materials selection, and (iv) time to implant placement.  Determining which grafting material(s) and biologics to use (and why) will lead to improved predictability.  This program will guide the novice and improve the critical thinking skills of the experienced clinician for successful socket grafting procedures.

Course Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this program participants understand the following:

  • How the extraction socket topography dictates the selection of grafting material, membrane or barrier.
  • How the patient’s hygiene, age, and a medical history affect grafting selections.
  • How long should clinicians wait to place the dental implant(s).
  • Which biologics can be added to the graft to enhance results.
  • A logical algorithm to follow.
