Course Description

Dental lasers have evolved into versatile clinical tools that can improve treatment precision, patient comfort and clinical outcomes across a wide range of procedures. This four-hour program provides a practical overview of modern laser dentistry, focusing on the clinical applications of multiple lasers, along with the rapidly growing field of photobiomodulation (PBM).

Participants will learn how different wavelengths interact with tissue, how to select the appropriate laser for specific procedures and how laser technology can be integrated into restorative, periodontal, surgical, implant and pain management therapies. Clinical cases will illustrate real-world applications, including emerging multi-wavelength treatment protocols.

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of what today's laser systems can accomplish, how PBM is expanding the role of lasers in patient care, and get a sneak peek into how evolving technologies will shape the future of dental practice.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Understand the fundamental principles of laser-tissue interaction and why wavelength selection influences clinical outcomes.
  • Differentiate the capabilities, advantages, and limitations of diode, erbium, Nd:YAG and CO2 laser systems.
  • Incorporate lasers into periodontal, restorative, surgical and implant-related procedures with greater confidence.
  • Apply photobiomodulation (PBM) principles to support pain management, wound healing and tissue recovery.
  • Evaluate clinical cases demonstrating both established and emerging laser treatment protocols.

Registration:
